Providence Presbyterian Church

Jesus Christ, the Lord of His Church, has given
her His own definitive purpose statement:

"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Mat. 28:18-20).

Along with countless thousands of faithful churches throughout history, Providence is enthusiastically committed to this "Great Commission." In Christian love we seek to fully proclaim and to consistently live out the truths of the historic Reformed faith to the glory of God alone!

Morning Worship For September 7th and 14th

On Sunday September 7th and 14th we will be worshiping outdoors at the William Andrews Pavilion in Fairhaven Park in Kennedy Township. Please feel free to bring your own folding chairs and/or blankets, although there will be 140 seats at the park tables available. Worship begins at 10:30 AM. WE WILL NOT BE HAVING ANY SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES.  We welcome you to bring a lunch and stay after worship and enjoy the park. We will not be providing childcare during worship, as the park has plenty of play areas for children.

Directions: Fairhaven Park is less than three miles from the church building.  Leaving the church, make a left at the light onto Clever Road. Follow Clever Road for 2.2 miles, then turn left at the Stop sign onto Fairhaven Road. After approximately 60 feet, make the first left into the Park at the “One Way” sign. Drive down through the first parking lot and you will see the William Andrews Pavilion directly in front of you. We hope to see you there!

Imago Dei Conference

The recordings of the Imago Dei Conference are available online.

Dr. Jack D. Kinneer and Pastor Tim Bayly helped us to understand why being created in the image of God is such an important and foundational truth for all mankind.  Each generation of the Church must not only affirm this truth, but at all cost must defend this preeminent doctrine declared during creation, restated after the global flood, and reaffirmed by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
