Personal Historical Recollections and Dates of the first 25 Years of Providence Presbyterian Church

by Bob Parker

Twenty-five years, where have they gone? And, how could anyone begin to pen the history of Providence Presbyterian Church onto a few pages? The dictionary (Funk and Wagnall's) ascribes several meanings to the word "history" among them being, "A record or account, usually written and in chronological order, of past events, especially those concerning a particular nation, people, field of knowledge or activity, etc."

(Decision was made to call an organizational meeting on 1-25, 1975.)
Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what he has done.
